Isaac is a paralel reflection of my journey over the past 8 months. Plummeting down to rock bottom, paralyzed by misplaced guilt and fear, to being metaphorically and literally carried out, struggling to breathe, then blessed with a new urgency to live and live a life driven by passion and purpose. The album itself is 10 Songs, the first 5 reflect my experience discovering how severe my health issues are, dealing with invalid feelings of guilt, and being overwhelmed with fear. The last 5 reflect my journey after my heart and lungs died unexpectedly on the operating table, and how God used that experience to motivate me to live a full life of purpose and meaning.
